Daycare Photo Download is a Chrome extension that pulls every photo and video from your Procare Connect parent account onto your own computer. This page is the plain-language spec sheet: what it grabs, what it costs, how it stays private, and what it deliberately doesn’t do.
What it downloads
- Every photo in your feed. From the first drop-off to the most recent post, all of it, not a curated sample.
- Every video. The clip of the first steps at the sensory table counts as much as a photo. Videos come down with the photos, in the same run.
- Full resolution. The original file your daycare uploaded, not the compressed thumbnail the app shows you on your phone.
- All children on your account. Two kids at the same center? Pick each one and run it. One license covers the whole family.
- Named by date. Every file is named for the day it was posted, so
2026-03-14_1032.jpgsorts into order in any folder, on any computer, in any photo app.
Re-runs are incremental. The extension remembers what it already saved and only fetches what’s new, so a monthly Procare photo backup takes seconds.
What it costs
$20 a year. That covers every child on your account, photos and videos, unlimited re-runs, and the updates that keep it working when Procare changes their app. It renews each year so new photos keep getting backed up.
If it renews for a year you didn’t use, email us and we refund it, no questions asked. The software’s license check-in (your key and the date, nothing else) is how we can see the year truly went unused. Cancel whenever; the photos you already downloaded are yours forever.
How it stays private
A Procare photo downloader necessarily touches your login and your kid’s photos, so here is exactly how those are handled.
- You log in on Procare’s own page. Your password goes to Procare, not to us. The extension never sees it.
- Photos go from Procare straight to your computer. Nothing passes through a server we run. We don’t have one in the path.
- No account with us, no cloud, no tracking. The license key from your purchase email is the only thing you enter.
The full privacy policy is short, because we store nothing.
What it doesn’t do
Just as important as the feature list. Daycare Photo Download is deliberately narrow.
- It doesn’t touch other parents’ kids. It downloads what your parent account already shows you: your children’s feeds. It has no way to see anyone else’s.
- It doesn’t store anything. No copy of your photos, your login, or your child’s name exists anywhere except your own computer.
- It doesn’t work after your account is deactivated. When your child leaves and the center turns off your login, the photos are no longer visible to you, and the downloader can’t reach them either. Run it before the last day.
- It doesn’t modify anything in Procare. It reads your feed and saves files. It never posts, deletes, edits, or changes a setting.

Questions parents ask
- Can I download Procare videos, or just photos?
- Both. Videos are downloaded at the original resolution your daycare uploaded, in the same run as the photos, and named by date the same way.
- Is this a Procare photo backup I can run more than once?
- Yes, and that's the intended use. Run it monthly or whenever you remember; each run only fetches photos and videos you don't already have.
- Where do the files end up?
- One ZIP in your Downloads folder. Inside are ordinary JPG and MP4 files, named by date, that you can move anywhere.
- Do I need a Procare login?
- Yes, your normal parent login. The downloader only sees what your account sees. It cannot reach a feed your account isn't enrolled in.
- Mac or Windows?
- Both. It's a Chrome extension, so it runs on Mac, Windows, and Chromebooks. One license key works on all of them.
- What happens if I cancel?
- Everything you already downloaded is yours forever; they're files on your computer. Cancelling just means no new downloads after the year ends.
