How to download all photos from Procare. Every photo, one click.
Your daycare has posted hundreds of photos of your kid, and every one of them lives in an activity feed you can scroll but not export. Here’s the honest manual way to save them, and the way that takes two minutes.
The problem
Procare Connect is where your daycare posts the daily photos: the first drop-off, the finger painting, the nap-drunk grin after lunch. But the parent app is built for looking, not keeping. Photos live inside a scrolling activity feed, mixed in with diaper changes and meal notes. There is no “export all” button, no album download, no way to ask for a copy of everything.
And the feed isn’t permanent, at least not for you. When your child graduates or moves to another center, the center deactivates your parent account. Your login stops working and every photo in that feed is gone from your view. Most parents find this out the week after the last day.
The manual way
You can save Procare photos by hand, one at a time. Open the Procare app on your phone, scroll the feed to a photo, tap it to open it full-screen, tap the share or save icon, and confirm. Then scroll to the next one. Videos work the same way, and they take longer to save.
For a handful of favorites, that’s fine. For an enrollment, it isn’t. A child who has been at daycare for two years typically has 1,000 to 3,000 photos in their feed. At roughly fifteen seconds each, that’s an entire weekend of tapping, and the feed keeps loading older posts in small batches as you scroll, so it gets slower the further back you go. You also lose the date: a photo saved from the app is named by whatever your phone calls it, not by the day it was taken. Most parents get a few dozen in and give up.
The one-click way
Daycare Photo Download is a Chrome extension that does the manual process for you: it walks your feed, finds every photo and video, and downloads the full-resolution originals. Three steps.

Install the Chrome extension
Add Daycare Photo Download from the Chrome Web Store and paste in the license key from your purchase email. That key is the only thing you ever enter.

Log in to Procare like normal
Open schools.procareconnect.com in Chrome and sign in on Procare’s own login page, the same way you always do. No new account, no new password.

Click the extension and pick your child
Every child on your parent account is listed. Pick one and the download starts. A few minutes later, one ZIP of every full-resolution photo and video, each file named by the date it was posted, lands in your Downloads folder.
Run it again next month and it only fetches what’s new. The extension keeps a local record of which photos you already have, so a re-run at the end of the year takes seconds, not minutes. That’s the whole workflow for how to bulk download Procare photos: log in, click, done.
Want them on your phone? Unzip the file, then drag the folder into Photos on a Mac and iCloud puts every picture on your iPhone, or upload the folder to Google Photos. They show up in your camera roll with the right dates, ready to share with grandparents.
What happens to your password and photos
This is your kid’s photos, so it’s worth being precise about where things go.
- Your password goes to Procare, never to us. You log in on Procare’s own page. The extension never sees the password and has nowhere to send it.
- Photos download directly to your computer. They travel from Procare’s servers to your Downloads folder. Nothing passes through our servers; there are no servers of ours in the loop at all.
- No account with us. No sign-up, no cloud, no copy of your photos anywhere but your own machine.

Questions parents ask
- Does it download videos too?
- Yes. Every video your daycare posted to your child's feed is downloaded at full resolution alongside the photos, in the same ZIP, named by date.
- How far back does it go?
- Everything your parent account can see — usually your child's entire enrollment, from the first drop-off photo to yesterday's. If it's in your feed, it's in the download.
- Does it work on Mac and Windows?
- Both. It's a Chrome extension, so it works anywhere Chrome runs: Mac, Windows, and Chromebooks. One license covers all your computers.
- My child already left. Can I still download the photos?
- Only if your parent account still logs in. Once the center deactivates your account, the photos are no longer visible to you, and no tool can reach them. Run the backup before your last day.
- Is this an official Procare feature?
- No. Daycare Photo Download is made by Beach Street Labs LLC and is not affiliated with Procare Solutions. It downloads only what your own parent account already shows you.
- What does it cost?
- $20 a year, covering every child on your account. It renews so new photos keep getting backed up; if a year renews that you didn't use, email us and we refund it, no questions asked.
