The Procare website and app let you look at your kid’s photos, not take them with you. Daycare Photo Download is a Chrome extension that saves every photo and video from your parent account to your PC, Mac or Chromebook as one ZIP of full-resolution files, each named by the day it was posted.
Three steps in Chrome

Add it to Chrome
Add Daycare Photo Download to Google Chrome from the Chrome Web Store, then paste in the license key from your purchase email.

Log in to Procare like normal
Sign in at schools.procareconnect.com in the same Chrome window. Your password goes to Procare's own login page, never to us.

Click the extension and pick your child
One ZIP of every original photo and video, named by date, lands in your Downloads folder in a few minutes.
Run it again next month and it only fetches what’s new, so your copy never falls behind the daycare feed.
Where the photos end up
- Windows: the ZIP is in Downloads. Right-click → Extract All, then move the folder to Pictures, OneDrive or an external drive.
- Mac: double-click the ZIP in Downloads and drag the folder into Photos, or keep it in Finder.
- Chromebook: open the Files app → Downloads. Open the ZIP there, or copy the photos to Google Drive or Google Photos.
Files are named like 2026-03-14_1032.jpg, so they sort by date in any folder and any photo app.
Private by design

Questions parents ask
- Does it work on Windows?
- Yes. It runs in Google Chrome on Windows. The ZIP lands in your Downloads folder; right-click it and choose Extract All.
- Does it work on a Chromebook?
- Yes. Chromebooks run Chrome, so it works the same way. The ZIP shows up in the Files app under Downloads; open it there or copy the photos to Google Drive.
- And on a Mac?
- Yes, in Google Chrome on macOS. Double-click the ZIP in Downloads and drag the folder into the Photos app or anywhere you keep family pictures.
- Do I need Chrome specifically?
- Yes. It is a Chrome extension, so it needs Google Chrome on a computer. Chrome on a phone doesn't run extensions; on iPhone, use the iPhone app instead.
- Does one license cover my laptop and my partner's?
- Yes. One license key covers every child on your account, and you can enter it on each computer you use.
- Are the files full resolution?
- Yes. The originals your daycare uploaded, as ordinary JPG and MP4 files, not the compressed previews the app shows you.
- What does it cost?
- $19.99 a year for every child on your account, photos and videos. If it renews for a year you didn't use, email us and we refund it, no questions asked.
- Is this an official Procare tool?
- No. Daycare Photo Download is made by Beach Street Labs LLC and is not affiliated with Procare Solutions. It downloads only what your own parent account already shows you.
